Most clients report mild, brief pinprick sensations. We use topical numbing to maximize comfort and work efficiently to minimize irritation. Redness usually resolves within hours to days; follow aftercare instructions to soothe skin and support optimal healing.
Yes. Each freckle session is personalized — we match pigment tones and vary size, placement and density to suit your skin tone and existing freckles. A consultation helps us design a pattern that looks organically integrated and flattering to your features.
Aftercare includes keeping the area clean, avoiding sun, sweating, saunas and swimming for at least 7–10 days. Expect slight scabbing or fading during initial healing; the pigment settles and softens over 4–8 weeks. A touch-up at eight weeks finalizes the look.
Pigments gradually lighten with time and sun exposure, but properly chosen inks and good aftercare prevent major color shifts. Uneven fading is uncommon; yearly or biennial touch-ups maintain tone. Use SPF and gentle skincare to prolong even pigment retention.
Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding clients, those with active skin infections, eczema, psoriasis, recent chemical peels or Accutane use, or anyone prone to keloid scarring. A consultation and patch test determine suitability and reduce complications.
